YMCA Outside School Hours Care will commence in Term 1 2022.
Wonthaggi Primary School works in partnership with YMCA Victoria to provide Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) services that support our families.
YMCA Victoria is an established early childhood education and care provider, which operates over 70 services across Victoria. The Y is committed to safeguarding children and maintains comprehensive child-safe practices.
These services are an ideal solution for busy families, providing a fun, friendly and relaxed environment for children to grow and learn beyond the classroom.
The Y offers the following services during the school term:
- Before school care: 7.00am to 9:00am
- After school care: 3:30pm to 6:00pm
- Pupil free days: 7.00am to 6:00pm

School Holiday Program
During the school holidays, Wonthaggi Primary students can access the YMCA School Holiday Program based at Bass Coast Aquatic and Leisure Centre.
The program offers a range of interest-based experiences that will keep the kids entertained and active during the holidays.
The program runs through a partnership with YMCA Victoria and Bass Coast Shire Council.
